Here is our project Scion XB in need of a custom mesh grille kit.

Lets start by opening the hood.
|
Picture #4:
Remove the plastic clips that secure the upper grille in place.
|
Picture #5:
Remove the upper grille.
|
Picture #6:
Remove the 10mm bolts that are located under the upper grille.
|
Picture #7:
Remove the screws located in the right & left fender well.
|
Picture #8:
Remove the bolts located on the bottom of the front bumper cover.
|
Picture #9:
Now remove the bumper cover.
|
Picture #10:
Place the mid section grille in place from the front side and mark the mounting tab center holes from the backside.

Picture #11:
Remove the mid section stock grille insert as shown.

Picture #12:
Drill the stock grille insert for the mounting screws.

Picture #13:
Install the GrillCraft insert into the stock insert and fasten. Now install the stock insert into the bumper.

Remove lower stock grille insert.

Picture #15:
Place the Grillcraft grille in from the front side and mark the mounting tab center hole from the back.

Using a 3/16 drill bit drill for the mounting screws

Picture #17:
When drilling the center hole flex the cover as shown for easy drill clearance.

Picture #18:
Attach the supplied "U" Nut onto the lower grille end tabs.

Picture #19:
Fasten the center tab as shown.

Picture #20:
Fasten the end tabs as shown. Now reinstall the stock insert from behind.
